The “Mind the Gap” project aims to raise awareness about menstrual health and its impact on girls aged 12 to 16 who are involved in sports.

In our project, we explored how menstrual health affects girls’ sports activities. We focused on the menstrual cycle, hormonal changes, and all the challenges they face. Menstrual hygiene and the products used are crucial, as is their proper use. It’s important to know how to choose and use these products correctly.

We invite all stakeholders in sports (coaches, educators) to review the training format we have prepared, explore the activities offered, and try to implement all aspects of the format in practice to improve inclusivity for girls in sports. Continue to follow our work to have insight into the upcoming project results that we will share soon.

Our partners in the consortium bring diverse perspectives to address the identified challenges. Together, we support these initiatives and build the foundation for a strategy that promotes inclusivity in sports.
